Patricia Marx

A Midwest native, Patricia Marx loved using her hands to make and fix things from an early age. A marriage and four children provided her with ample opportunity to hone her skills. She also loved to draw and often used her children as subjects. She returned to school, earning a BA with a double major in Studio Art and Psychology followed by an MA in Counseling. She worked in the field of Social Service for many years and continued to draw and paint in her spare time. In the early nineties she became interested in using wire to make jewelry. She enrolled in a few classes to learn the basics and then began developing her own designs using sterling silver wire with semi-precious stones, freshwater pearls, and crystals.

Patricia Marx's work is now sold in a number of fine galleries and boutiques in the Midwest.
She currently resides in St. Paul, MN.
