Drawing on her love of Italy, she collaborated with Italian artisans and factories to produce her original line. A visit to Italy as a 16-year-old changed her life, opening up a whole new world that was to become an important part of her future. During her junior year in college she returned to Italy and lived near Perugia, a village famous for its ceramics?sealing her destiny of a life-long love affair with Europe, art and dinnerware.
