Lori's Warm and Delicate Chocolate
Mini-Cakes
You will impress everyone with this dessert. This recipe is simple to
make and bakes in just 7 minutes.
4 oz. Sharfenberger bittersweet chocolate (available at Treasure Island,
Sunset Foods and William Sonoma)
1 stick unsalted butter
1/4 cup sugar
2 whole eggs
2 egg yolks
2 teaspoons flour
Bakers Choice vegetable spay with flour
Fresh whipped cream (optional)
Makes 6 individual small brioche cups (available
at Williams Sonoma)
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Melt 4 oz. of chocolate
with unsalted butter in double boiler. While chocolate
is melting beat sugar and eggs together. When
chocolate is melted add to egg sugar mixture along with 2 teaspoons flour.
You can blend all the ingredients by hand. When
well blended pour mixture into well
greased brioche pan half way.
Bake at 425 degrees for approximately 7 minutes.
(It should look moist in the center) Serve warm
with a dollop of whipped cream. This dessert is amazing! |
